M1 first win of the season and 3 unbeaten after a 4v0 win against Dragons 2s. Goals from youngsters Dylan Hardy and Felix Allen and not so youngsters Josh Dawson and Simon Donald and a clean sheet for Dave Worrall saw them off.
The M2s played Felixstowe 2s winning 1v0 in what can best be described as a bit of midfield slug fest. It was not pretty, but another Pete Terrett strike, bit of a miss hit to be honest was a fitting way to win a game of few chances.
The M3s where to start. Absolutely dominated the first 45 mins and deservedly led 2v0 thanks to Carl Alecock and a short corner from Mike Radford which technically beat the keeper for pace. Then after a Felixstowe player deliberately left a rather nasty welt on the side of Duncs knee he was yellow carded for explaining calmly and rationally why that was not a very nice thing to do. Unfortunately whilst off Felixstowe scored 3 and took the points. Undeserved to say the least.
The Ladies had 2 tough games, the 1s losing 3v1 in a backs against the wall tie v St Ives 1s Jess Richardson with the only goal.
The Ladies 3s also had a tough day at the office, taking on St Ives 3s but came away with a well deserved point curtesy of a Leah Palmer goal.
The L2s had the week off winning 5v0 against St Neots by default.
