Welfare

Newmarket Hockey Club takes safeguarding very seriously. We aim to create an enjoyable environment where all members (junior or senior) can take part in hockey safely.

We believe that people have the right to be safe, secure and free from threat. Young people in particular have the right to be treated with respect and to have their concerns listened to and acted upon.

Newmarket Hockey Club is committed to ensuring that all coaches, managers, volunteers, players and spectators adhere to strict codes of conduct both on and off the pitch. We will ensure that all coaches and volunteers are subject to appropriate checks.

If you have any concerns our Welfare Officer is Janet Aitken who can be contacted here.
