All players need to complete an online Membership Form and pay an Annual Subscription before league hockey commences each season.
Membership Form
Everyone playing hockey at Newmarket Hockey Club, whether new, returning or an occasional player, is required to complete the online membership form. Each member must submit a form every year for insurance purposes and to confirm that we have up to date emergency contact details.
Welcome Pack
All members, new and returning, are required to read the Welcome Pack which contains useful information about the Club, our expectations of player behaviour and what players can expect from the Club.

Subscription
Subscriptions will be collected by Teamo App and must be paid by 30th September. Please refer any queries regarding payment to the Membership Officer. Teamo is available for iPhones/iPads (Apple Store), Android phones/tablets (Google Play Store), and as a webapp for PCs and desktops.

Students (over 18 & in full time education): Please provide a copy of your valid Student card to the Membership Officer to complete your application.
Late Payment: Players who do not pay their subscriptions on time will be subject to an additional £20 fee and will not be able to play for the club or attend training until resolved. We therefore urge all members to pay on time to avoid this situation. Please speak directly to the Membership Officer regarding any issues.
New Players: Have four weeks to pay the relevant subscriptions during which time they may train but are ineligible to play league games for the Club.
Active Goalkeepers: Providing their own complete goalkeeping kit will be exempt from subscriptions for the year at the Club’s discretion.
Non-Playing Members: Wishing to attend training on a regular basis but not play matches are still required to pay the full yearly subscription fee and complete a membership form.
Match Fees
Match Fees are payable for every match that you play. The Club uses the Teamo App for collecting match fees. Persistent non or late-payers may be restricted from training/playing until any outstanding matters are resolved. Playing Kit
New players are provided shirts courtesy of the Club sponsor, but will need to provide their own shorts/skorts and stockings; these items and other Club kit are available from the Club’s online shop.
