For the second week in a row Newmarket remain unbeaten 4 wins, 2 draws.
Top of the pops goes to the M2s, a 3v1 win against Norwich City 5s moves them into a share of the lead of 4NE. Next they travel to Felixstowe 2s, the winner taking out and out control of the league. This week’s goals coming from surprise surprise Terrett x2 and Green.
The Ladies 1s pootled off to Long Sutton and presumably made it out alive with a 6v0 win, Grace Evans bagging a hatrick with other goals coming from Georgia Atherton and Jess Richardson. 4th place for them.
The M3s also win again, thanks to a cleansheet and goal from Matt Parsons. They currently sit 2nd. The L3s picked up another win via forfeit and now sit joint 2nd.
The M1s conceded a late goal for the second week in a row to draw 2v2 also for the second week in a row. Goals from Donald and Hardy putting them ahead from 1v0 down, before North Norfolk stole a point. Finally finishing practice is on the cards for the L2s who drew 1v1 with Ely 2s. Jess Malings with the only goal and still 2nd so not too much damage done.
