On the 21st April, our very own Di Farrell-Thomas will be taking on the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert!
The Marathon des Sables consists of 6 marathons over 5 (yes 5!) days whilst having to carry all her food, water, and equipment for the duration. With temperatures set to reach 50+ during the day and below freezing at night, this is definitely a challenge of a lifetime, and no doubt one Di will take by the horns and give 110%!
Di is raising money for the Arthur Rank Hospice who provided her dad with the outstanding care he needed before he sadly passed away in early 2022. She is also dedicating this challenge to her dad!
