Meanwhile the Ladies 1s travelled to Peterborough, routing them 6v0 thanks to Grace Evans x3, Georgia Atherton x2 and a Jess Richardson strike. 2nd in 2NW with an all or nothing game against 3rd place Pelicans next week.
The Ladies 3s also played Peterborough who must be sick of the sight of yellow this week, with Newmarket winning 3v1 thanks to Georgia Atherton, Leah Palmer and Vicky Benedikz.
Mens 1s lost 3v2 to Norwich 3s, 2 late short corners from Simon Harrington not quite enough.
